More of the Old West is returning to Medora this weekend.
Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages will flock to take part in the “Guns a Blazin’ in the Badlands” mounted shooting event hosted by the North Dakota Mounted Shooting Association.
The live variety program, Dakota Air: The Radio Show, will be performed as part of Medora’s 17th annual Old-Fashioned Cowboy Christmas. The performance is 8:15 p.m. Friday in the Medora Community Center.
MEDORA — With the replacement of its outdated wastewater treatment facilities rapidly becoming a need, members of the Medora City Council were presented three plans Wednesday evening that could remedy the community’s water issues.
Dry conditions have led to a number of blazes in the region in the past few weeks and much of southwestern North Dakota was under Red Flag warnings Tuesday. Mott and the Medora area experienced first hand what the dry conditions can do on Tuesday.
